26 arrested for causing smog in Faisalabad

The police arrested 26 persons on charge of causing smog in various parts of district.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2018 ) -:The police arrested 26 persons on charge of causing smog in various parts of district.

Police spokesman said Friday,that the teams of environment protection department conducted surprise raids and found 11 brick kilns running.

Therefore, owners of these kiln houses were arrested.

Similarly,the police also arrested 14 persons on charge of burning residues of their crops and wastes of house hold items,whereas one person was arrested for running a factory unit.

Separate cases were registered against the accused.
