26 Lawbreakers Including 6 POs, 7 Drug Peddlers, 2 Suspected Dacoits Netted In Rawalpindi

Police in their crackdowns against anti-social elements have arrested 26 lawbreakers including six Proclaimed Offenders (POs), two court absconders, seven drug peddlers and two suspected dacoits besides recovering 3500 grams charras, nine pistols 30 bore with 61 rounds, a 32 bore revolver and other items from their possession.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2018 ) :Police in their crackdowns against anti-social elements have arrested 26 lawbreakers including six Proclaimed Offenders (POs), two court absconders, seven drug peddlers and two suspected dacoits besides recovering 3500 grams charras, nine pistols 30 bore with 61 rounds, a 32 bore revolver and other items from their possession.

According to a police spokesman, Gujar Khan, Saddar Baroni, New Town, Westridge, Civil Line, Morgah, Rawat and Kalar Syedan police conducted raids and held Ghulam Safdar, Muhammad Amin, Irfan Anwar, Ali Sher Zaman, Amir Ali, Nazar Khan, Amin alias Billa and Muhammad Hanif who were POs and court absconders.

Ratta Amral police held Khan Dad for having 1100 grams charras. Pirwadhai police netted Asad with 1600 grams charras. Waris Khan police apprehended Murad with 200 grams charras. Other accused were sent behind the bars for having illegal weapons and drugs.

Meanwhile, Taxilapolice acting on a tip-off conducted a raid in HMC Gate-3 area and rounded upAbdul Aziz and Khursheed Khan and recovered two pistols 30 bore and six rounds.
