26 Officials Deputed For Implementing Polls Code Of Conduct

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2018 ) ::The district government has deputed 26 monitoring officials for implementing the elections code of conduct.

Deputy Commissioner Mudassir Riaz Malik ordered for implementation of the code of conduct under the directions of the Election Commission of Pakistan.

The DC said that dozens of oversized hoarding boards installed in connection with the election campaigns by candidates have been removed. He said that candidates were bound to follow the election code of conduct regarding posters and banners. He said that fine or disqualification punishments could be awarded over violation of the code of conduct.
