29 Electricity Transformers Installed In UC: 38 In Record Time: Zubair Ali

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Sep, 2016 ) : Nazim Union Council 38 Tehkal Payan, Zubair Ali said he has changed and upgraded around 29 electricity transformers within a limited period of one and half year.

Speaking to notables of Usmania Street on Warsak Road after inaugurating installation of 100 KV transformer in the area, Nazim Zubair Ali said it is record that around 29 transformers have been installed in such a period of time.

He also informed the participants of the gathering that he has succeeded in obtaining a fund of Rs. 90 million from Ministry of SAFRON for improving condition of schools, repair of streets & sanitation and for installation of tube wells to provide clean water for drinking and irrigation purpose in the Union Council.

Naib Nazim UC 38, Habib Shah and District Member, Razaullah Khan Chagharmati were also present on the occasion. After getting funds from SAFRON, large scale work has been started on repair of roads and sanitation system in the UC besides improving educational facilities.

He said a Primary and middle school in the same area where 1100 students (550 primary and 600 in middle) were studying and its condition was very dilapidated is now being renovated. There were 10 rooms for 1100 students and now the new school will be constructed with having 15 rooms and 12 bath rooms.

He said students have been shifted to another nearby school and construction work is started with focus on early completion. In response to demand of people about improvement in gas pressure, Zubair Ali apprised them that he is in constant touch with General Manager of SNGPL for resolution of the issue.

He said the power of GM has been restricted and now he has to take permission from Lahore for laying of new pipes and that is why the matter is delayed. He also held out assurance of constructing metalled road in Usmania street Warsak road.

Earlier, dwellers of the area thanked Nazim UC 38, Zubair Ali for providing them with new transformer. They also apprised him about the problems being faced by them. APP/adl/rn
