297 Candidates Left In Election Race For 16 PK Tribal Districts' Seats In KP Assembly

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2019 ) :As many as 297 candidates were left in the election race for 16 PK seats of tribal districts in Khyber Pakthunkhwa Assembly.
According to Provincial Election Commission, a total of 419 candidates have submitted nomination papers against which 122 candidates withdrew their papers and now a total of 297 were left in the election race.
In PK 100 Bajaur-I, as many as 12 candidates would try their luck whereas 15 candidates would contest for PK 101 Bajaur-II and 12 candidates on PK 102 Bajaur-III.
Similarly, as many as 14 candidates would contest on PK 104 Mohmand-I and 18 candidates on PK105-Mohmand II respectively.
For PK105 Khyber-I, a total of 22 candidates were left in the election race whereas 19 candidates would try luck on PK106 Khyber-II and 18 candidates on PK107 Khyber-III.
A total of 31 candidates would contest for PK108 Kurram-I and 22 candidates on PK 109 Kurram-II. For lone Orakzai constituency of PK 110, a total of 24 candidates are in the run.
For two Constituencies of North Waziristan ie PK 111 and PK 112, a total of 19 and 20 candidates were left in the electoral race respectively whereas 20 candidates will try their luck on PK 113 South Waziristan-I and 21 candidates on PK-114 South Waziristan-II . For the lone former six frontier regions seats of PK 16, a total of 10 candidates were left in the election race. Polling would be held on July 2, 2019.
