ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th March, 2019) Tax evasion and tax fraud through the abuse of charities is a serious and increasing risk in many countries and Pakistan is one of them as there are reports that 37 charities organizations here in Pakistan were involved in tax evasion amounting Rs130 million.The central leader of tax evasion is an important member of FBR, sources said on Monday.
The FBR officer, instead of preventing tax evasion, played the role of tax hider.According to details, Act Pakistan Trust has been found involved in tax evasion worth Rs3.4 million, internet Work Rs6.8 million, Development Foundation Rs3.6 million, Muslim Aid Rs4.4 million, Idrak Rs 8.3 million, Memorial Hospital Gujranwala Rs3 million, Darul Shifa Trust Rs6.1 million, Mian Muhammad Hospital Trust Rs6.1 million and others
