37 Lawbreakers Including Five POs, Two CAs Arrested In Rawalpindi

Police in their crackdown against anti-social elements have arrested 37 lawbreakers including five Proclaimed Offenders (POs), two Court Absconders (CAs) besides recovering 6480 grams hashish, 265 liters liquor, two bottles of liquor, two pistols 30 bore with seven rounds, three daggers and other items from their possession
According to a police spokesman, Mandra police held Afzal for having 1350 grams hashish and Aqib with 300 grams hashish. Cantt police rounded up Imran and recovered 1150 grams hashish .
Similarly, Gujar Khan police conducted a raid and arrested Usman Masih for carrying 300 grams hasish. Airport police apprehended Tasawar with 130 grams hashish.
Civil Line police held Fasial and recovered 206 liters liquor and two bottles of liquor from the possession of Naveed and Naseer. Westridge police detained Zeeshan as five liters liquor was recovered from him. Cantt police arrested Nisar for having 12 liters liquor, Sarfraz with 12 liters liquor and Gulraiz with five liters liquor.
Waris Khan police arrested Waqas and seized 15 liters liquor.
Civil Line police arrested Farrukh, a drunkard who was under the influence of alcohol. Pirwadhai police in their operation against Punjab Renting Rules violators netted Tahir, Abdul Qayyum, Muhammad Dawood and Haider Ali as they did not pass on the required information to the police. Saddar Wah police arrested Yaseen Khan who was allegedly running an illegal LPG agency.
Other accused were sent behind the bars for having illegal weapons, drugs, liquor and other items.
Meanwhile, Kalar Syedan, Murree, Bani, R.A.Bazar and Saddar Wah police on the directives of City Police Officer Rawalpindi Abbas Ahsan conducted raids in different areas and rounded up five POs namely Rashid, Rais, Tanveer, Zubair and Syed Ijazwhile City and Gungmandi police in their crackdown against CAs held Irfan andAkram.
