4132 Gm Contraband Seized, 18 Arrested

SARGODHA, Jan 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : The police claimed to have arrested eighteen drug pushers including a woman and recovered narcotics as well as illegal weapons from them.

Police spokesman on Wednesday said that during ongoing drive against drug pushers, the teams of different police stations had conducted raids within the areas of their jurisdiction and arrested 18 accused recovering over 4132 gram Hashish, 10 bottles of liquor, 6 guns, 4 Pistol, 1 Rifle and 1 Kalashnikov along with number of bullets and cartridges from them.

They were identified as Ghulam Fareed, Qamar Shah, Jamshed, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Manzoor, Ataf, Rashid Iqbal, Fakhar Abbas, Afsheen Nawaz, Muhammad Saeed and others. The Police have registered separate cases against the accused and sent them to jail for further investigation.
