421 POs Arrested In Seven-day Crackdown: RPO

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2021 ) :Regional Police Officer (RPO) Syed Khurram Ali said on Thursday that 421 proclaimed offenders have been arrested during the seven-day crackdown across the district.

In a press release issued here, the regional police officer said that crackdown was continued across the region against proclaimed offenders to control crime.

He said that crime ratio has been decreased after comprehensive crackdown against criminals. He said that the police have arrested 421 proclaimed offenders including 25 of category A and 396 of category B while 295 court absconders have also been apprehended during the crackdown.

The regional police officer said that the Additional Inspector General of Police South Punjab Capt (retd) Zaffar Iqbal Awan appreciated the police over comprehensive crackdown and directed officers concerned to continue crackdown till September 30.
