563 'criminals' arrested in July in Faisalabad

The police arrested 563 alleged criminals from Faisalabad during July 2018.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2018 ) :The police arrested 563 alleged criminals from Faisalabad during July 2018.

Police spokesman said Monday that the arrested criminals include 211 drug-traffickers, 180 illicit weapon-holders, 77 target-offenders, 56 gamblers, 27 proclaimed offenders and 12 court absconders.

The police also recovered bet money of Rs 6200, 135 pistols, 27 guns, 14 Kalashnikovs, 10 rifles, a number of bullets/cartridges, 47.391 kilograms of charas and 2,714 litres of liquor from theirpossession.
