5kg Opium Seized, One Accused Arrested In Karachi

Sindh Excise Police Hyderabad have apprehended accused Haroon ur Rasheed near Thatta Railway Phatak Kotri-Thatta Road and recovered five kilogram opium along with a car from his possession.
The accused is said to be resident of district Buner of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), said a statement on Monday.
A case has been registered against the accused and investigation is under way.
Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar Chawla has congratulated the Excise Police Hyderabad and expressed his hope that they would continue their efforts against drug peddlers.
