6 Accomplices Of Inter Provincial Gang Arrested In Attock

Police have arrested six accomplices of an inter provincial gang involved in different dacoities
Cases have been registered against them under the relevant acts and all have been sent behind the bars. Police also recovered six oxen and four pistols from their possession.
District Police Officer Attock Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bokhari while addressing a press conference here Friday said the arrested criminals had snatched a truck loaded with six oxen worth Rs1.1 million from Muhammad Asif and others in February.
In this context, Fatehjang police had registered an first information report and since then and a team headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Sikandar Gondal was on the hunt to arrest the culprits.
The District Police Officer said those arrested include Zahir Shah r/o Dir, Sifarish Khan r/o Charsada, Fazal Rehman r/o Mardan, Tasawar Iqbal r/o Attock , Muhammad Ejaz r/o Pindigheb and Muhammad Yaqub r/o Taxila.
He said during the initial investigation, the gang had confessed of committing many other crimes in different areas.
He lauded the professionalism of Deputy Superintendent of Police Sikandar Gondal and his team for arresting this gang.
Meanwhile police have arrested a proclaimed offender Iqbal after six years involved in the murder of JUP General Secretary Daud Mustafai.
