6,530 Police Personnel To Perform Security Duty On Eid In Bahawalpur Division

Eid prayers will be held at 1210 places in Bahawalpur division on Wednesday for whose security some 6,530 police personnel and other security staff would be deployed.

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Aug, 2018 ) :Eid prayers will be held at 1210 places in Bahawalpur division on Wednesday for whose security some 6,530 police personnel and other security staff would be deployed.

In Bahawalpur district, Eid prayers will be held at 393 places, 314 in Bahawalnagar and 503 in Rahim Yar Khan.

According to police sources, as many as 17 walk-through gates, 1141 metal detectors and 101 CCTV cameras would be used to secure Eid congregations.

In addition, 20 teams of Dolphin Force, 25 Quick Response teams and Elite Force would be deployed for security in Bahawalpur division. District Police Officers of all the three districts of Bahawalpur division have visited Eid congregation venues to inspect security arrangements on the directives of Regional Police Officer Bahawalpur Muhammad Faisal Rana.
