68 Held For Traffic Rules Violation In City Karachi

As many as 68 motorists were arrested while 2,884 others were challened on Wednesday in violation of traffic rules in different areas of the metropolis.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :As many as 68 motorists were arrested while 2,884 others were challened on Wednesday in violation of traffic rules in different areas of the metropolis.
Action against traffic rules violators was started on the orders of AIG Karachi Police Ameer Ahmed Shaikh for keeping the traffic-flow smooth and in order.
During the day, 68 motorists majority of them bikers were arrested, under Section 279 PPC, for wrong way driving on different roads.
Later, they were released after completion of legal formalities and fine.
Aroung 2884 motorists were challened and fine was imposed on them for violation of traffic rules.
SSP Traffic South, Asif Ahmed Bough personally supervised the action against traffic rules violators. He, on the occasion, advised the traffic users to follow the traffic rules in their own interest.
