LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2017 ) :The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party on Friday approved seven development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs.

13936.227 million. The schemes were approved in the 31st meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all Members of the Planning & Development board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included: Third Party Evaluation of Literacy Interventions (PC-II) at the cost of Rs.

26.795 million, Introduction of mobile Health Units Tehsil Level (Outsource) (Revised) at the cost of Rs.

835.889 million, Establishment of Institute of Urology and Transplantation, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 4071.919 million, Establishment of Medical Stores for Supply Chain of Medicines in Punjab at the cost of Rs.

1138.260 million, Dualization of Sialkot-Eminabad Road Upto Dharam Kot length = 37.20 km (Phase-I km No. 0/0 to 7/20, length = 7.20 km) District Sialkot (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 1121.174 million, Dualization of Chiniot Faisalabad Road (Phase-I) length = 10km, District Chiniot at the cost of Rs.

3215.570 million and Establishment of Hepatities Clinic and G-I departments in all tertiary case hospitals in Punjab at the cost of Rs. 3526.620 million.
