7 Gamblers Arrested During Raid

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Aug, 2024) Police have arrested seven gamblers and recovered stake amount Rs 13,000, 05 mobile phones from their possession during crackdown here on Wednesday.
According to police spokesman, New Town police conducted raid and held seven gamblers, identified as Shahada, Niazi, Karamat, Asif, Ishaq, Sajjad and Ghulam Yasin.
Police have registered separate cases against all of them and further investigation was in progress.
SP Rawal Faisal Saleem commended police teams efforts in arresting the culprits and said that the arrested accused will be challaned to the court with concrete evidence and will be punished, he said that gambling is the root of other social evils, strict action will be continued against such social elements.
