7th Meeting Of Pakistan Academy Of Letters Publication Committee Held

Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) Publication Committee 7th meeting was held here under the chairmanship of Syed Junaid Akhlaq on Tuesday
Members of the committee including Dr Ihsan Akbar, Muhammad Hamid Shahid, Dr Wahid Bakhsh Buzdar, Shafaq, Prof Jalil Aali, Afshan Abbasi, Dr Rashid Hamid, PAL Director General and Dr Ali Yasir were attended the meeting, a press release said.
PAL Chairman Syed Junaid Akhlaq said publication of new books and magazines was being continued despite financial problems.
He said numbers of books was being published under PAL series "Pakistani Adab ke Me'maar", adding it was equally popular series among the writers and readers.
The Publication Committee unanimously approved the publication of new books under "Pakistani Adab Ke Me'maar" series.
The committee also appreciated the efforts of the academy for the promotion of literature.
