820,815 Saplings Planted In District

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Oct, 2018 ) ::All-out efforts were being made to make successful Clean and Green Punjab campaign and departments had been directed to participate in it.
Commissioner Muhammad Zafar Iqbal said that four deputy Commissioners had been issued instructions for ensuring cleanliness arrangements in rural and urban areas.
He stated that under the campaign, a total 820,815 saplings had been planted across the division out of which 315,245 saplings were planted in in Sargodha, 155,915 in Khushab, 116,773 in Mianwali, and 232,882 in Bhakkar district.
The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) and forest departments were also participating in the campaign, he said and urged masses to play their rolefor making the country green.
