85,000 Children Enrolled Under Emergency Enrollment Campaign

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning) Rao Atif Raza Wednesday said that under Emergency Enrollment Campaign, 85,000 children had so far enrolled in schools across the province to provide standard education
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Nov, 2017 ) :Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning) Rao Atif Raza Wednesday said that under Emergency Enrollment Campaign, 85,000 children had so far enrolled in schools across the province to provide standard education.
Speaking as Chief guest in a seminar held under Labour Welfare department at Attock Refinery Limited, ADCF said that a mega project of worth 5159.629 million to eliminate Child And Bonded Labor was a praiseworthy move of Punjab Government.
He said that access to education was a fundamental right of every child and 85 thousand children from all over the province had been enrolled in schools and evert child was receiving monthly stipend of one thousand rupees.
He said that the Labour Welfare department identified the children working at hotels, workshops, shops and brick kilns and took them to school replacing innocent hand filled of mud with books. He said that these children were our future and money invested on them today would be guarantor to the country's bright future.
Member Provincial Assembly Tehseen Fawad, Director Labour Welfare Laiqat Ali Khan, AD Social Welfare Amir Shehzad, President Traders Association Shahid Ghafoor Paracha, Trainer ILO Dr Ishaq, Nasir Hussain and other officials were also present on the occasion.
