89 shopkeepers fined for profiteering

Special Price Control Magistrates imposed fine of Rs 114,500 on 89 shopkeepers for overcharging during last two days

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2018 ) :Special Price Control Magistrates imposed fine of Rs 114,500 on 89 shopkeepers for overcharging during last two days. The teams visited different markets, bazaars and shopping centres in the district and found 89 shopkeepers involved in overcharging from consumers.

The teams also got registered cases against a shopkeeper on serious violations of price control act.
