President Heart Association of Pakistan Maj. Gen. (R) Masood ur Rehman said after every five minute a Pakistani died due to heart attack.
ABBOTTABAD, Nov 17(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2018 ) :President Heart Association of Pakistan Maj. Gen. (R) Masood ur Rehman said after every five minute a Pakistani died due to heart attack.
He said this while addressing a seminar on "Awareness of Heart diseases and safety" here on Saturday.
Masood ur Rehman shown his reservation on the increasing number of death by the heart disease and said that it should be compulsory to know the causes of heart problems and also opt the precautionary measure for the safety otherwise the ratio of death would increase more.
Giving the details of the heart disease in Pakistan Dr. Masood ur Rehman said 50 percent heart patient died while shifting to the hospitals.
He added that 70 percent of patients of the cardiovascular disease are lying in Sub Continent owing to the unhealthy lifestyle.
Heart diseases can quietly damage the body for years, roughly half the people with untreated hypertension die of heart disease related to poor blood flow and another third die of stroke, adding he disclosed.
Maj. Gen. (R) Masood ur Rehman stated that our life style where usually they donot feel the need of physical exercise, over eating, smoking and cholesterol are causing the heart issues and heart attack adding that beside exercise they also need to use balance diet to overcome heart problems.
