Aamir Liaquat Beats Farooq Sattar In NA-245 Karachi

Aamir Liaquat won with 65,615 votes while Farooq Sattar lost with 35,247 votes.
Karachi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aamir Liaquat has won against Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) candidate Farooq Sattar in NA-245, Karachi.
According to unofficial results, Aamir Liaquat won with 56,615 votes while Farooq Sattar lost with 35,247 votes.
Polling across the country was held on Wednesday, July 25, for general elections 2018. Polling began at 8am in the morning and concluded at 6pm in the evening.
The nation elected 270 members of the National Assembly and 570 members of all the four provincial assemblies for the next five-year term.
Around 105.95 million eligible voters – 59.22 million male and 46.73 million female – exercised their right to vote to mark another democratic transition from one elected government to another.
About 1,1673 candidates contested for 270 national and 570 provincial assemblies seats.
According to unofficial results announced so far, Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is in a winning position and is likely to form a majority government.
In what will probably be his victory speech, PTI chairman Imran Khan will address the nation today evening.
