Academia Stressed To Focus Educational Institutions As Training Centres

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :Secretary Education South Punjab Dr Ehtisham Anwar stressed upon academicians to focus on educational institutions as training centres besides imparting education.

Chairing a meeting of CEOs District Education Authorities (DHAs) DEOs and other officials, he urged upon them to bring positive change in the sector by playing their roles for success of educations projects including out of school children, trans education in Bahawalpur and DG Khan divisions and School Olympics.

He hoped that leadership role played by them in this context would be a national duty, adding that officers should respect the teachers visiting them for resolution their issues.

He asked Chief Executive Officers to pay special attention to court matters and arrange audit for canteen and other contracts.

The vaccination against coronavirus for teaching and non teaching staff, 18 years students, SNC, E-Transfers, Arrangements for Hockey League, plantation campaign in schools and other issues came under discussion during the meeting.

Additional Secretary (Adim) Ata -ul- Haq, Additional Secretary School Education, Ansar Sial, Deputy Secretary Khawaja Mazhar ul Haq, DPI (Secondary) Ayzaz Joya, DPI (Elementary), Tahir Perveen and others attended the meetings.
