Accountability To Be Held Across Board Against Corrupts: Shehzad

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2018 ) :Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Accountability, Barrister Shehzad Akbar Tuesday said the accountability would be held across the board against all corrupt elements.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was an independent institution of the country which was conducting investigations regarding the cases, he said this talking to news channels.
He lauded the national institutions including NAB and FIA for probing the corruption scandals.
The Task Force was constituted to investigate corruption cases and to present its weekly or forthrightly report for further proceeding, he added.
Shehzad Akbar said Terms of References (ToRs) were prepared in former president Asif Ali Zardari case. He clarified that no National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) would be made in the country.
He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was devising strategy to further strengthen the national institutions to yield desirous results.
To a question, he said PML-N and PPP was leveling allegations of rigging in the general election 2018 then they should consult with the Supreme Court.
He urged the opposition to hold productive discussion instead of baseless criticism for political point scoring.be
