Accused awarded death sentence

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jan, 2017 ) : Additional District and Session Judge Ahmad Nawaz Khan on Friday awarded death sentence to an accused involved in a murder case. According to court sources, the accused Muhammad Ilyas resident of Punja, Tehsil Johrabad along with his acomplice Fakhar Iqbal had gunned down their opponent Muhammad Arslan over a dispute over possession of a residential plot.

The Judge awarded death sentence to the culprit Muhammad Ilyas along with fine of Rs 500,000, while acquitted the co-accused Fakhar Iqbal over advantage of doubt. The culprit was sent to the district Jail.
