ACE DG Lauds Sargodha Circle Performance

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2016 ) : Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Director General (DG) Muzafar Ali Ranjha said on Friday that the department has solved 25 per cent corruption-related cases, following the policies of merit and transparency.
Talking to the media here, he termed the performance of Sargodha circle outstanding in the province, saying action had been taken against officials of Grade 17 to 19 over corruption charges. Police officials were also charged and cases of Rs 220 million over irregularities in Irrigation Department were also resolved, he added.
To make the province corruption free, steps had been taken and a provincial Director Vigilance would be deployed at the office which would point out corrupt officers. He said Anti-Corruption Complexes were also being established in all divisions.
He said that training of resource persons was under way, and special prizes would be given to complainants. Also Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 increase in salaries of the officials would be given according to their performance. He said that pending cases were being investigated and decisions would be made within six months.
