Acting Mayor Hyderabad Imposes Rain Emergency In City

The acting Mayor Hyderabad Syed Sohail Mashadi while imposing rain emergency in Hyderabad and Latifabad has cancelled leaves of officers and employees of all wings of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation with directives to remain high alert for next 24 hours

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jan, 2019 ) :The acting Mayor Hyderabad Syed Sohail Mashadi while imposing rain emergency in Hyderabad and Latifabad has cancelled leaves of officers and employees of all wings of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation with directives to remain high alert for next 24 hours.

According to announcement here on Monday, the acting Mayor has asked the sanitation staff to ensure clearance of drains and dispose of the standing rainwater from low laying areas of Hyderabad City and Latifabad.

He expressed his concern over the strike of the employees of Water and Sanitation Agency adding that more responsibilities now lies upon the HMC employees therefore they discharge their responsibilities with dedication to avert any inconvenience to citizens.

He informed that a complain cell has been established in HMC and the citizens could contact there for registering their complaints if any so that the HMC staff could reach in areas and provide relief to them.
