Admin Organizes Walk To Express Solidarity With Kashmiri People

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Aug, 2024) Rawalpindi district administration here on Monday organized a walk on ‘Youm-e-Istehsal’ to express solidarity with Kashmiri people.
The walk led by CEO, Zilla Council, Kamran Khan, started from District Council Hall culminated at Kutchery Chowk while people from different walks of life participated and raised slogans of Pakistan and Kashmir ‘Zindabad’.
Addressing the participants, Kamran Khan said that the rally was organized to express solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers.
The tyrannical Indian government tried to end the special status of Kashmir on Aug 5, 2019, he said adding, Pakistani people stand side by side with Kashmiri brothers.
He said, 'Youm-e-Istehsal' is observed to express solidarity with Kashmiri people and protest India’s 2019 move to revoke the special autonomous status of occupied Kashmir.
“Such tricks and moves cannot counter the sentiments and bravery of our Kashmiri brothers,” he added.
