
Advisor Directs Not To Advise Medicine During Anti-dengue Campaign

RAWALPNDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th August, 2016) ; Advisor to Chief Minister on Dengue control Dr Waseem Akram has directed the dengue staff not to advise any medicine to the people during surveillance. Addressing session of a training workshop of operational staff here Thursday, he directed that SOPs regarding dengue be fully implemented and stern action be taken against those failing to comply with the laws.
He said that all resources are being utilized for eliminating dengue and concerned departments are fully mobilized for the task.
He directed all concerned departments to keep a close liaison with all departments to completely wipe out dengue. He asked the workers to create awareness among house-wives to keep their houses clean and leave no place wet or with stagnant water. The Advisor also highlighted steps of Punjab government to control the spread of dengue larvae.
