AFP To Mark Independence Day

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july,2016) : Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) will be holding marathon and road races throughout the country during the month of August to mark the Independence Day.
According to an AFP official, in order to join the National celebrations for Pakistan's Independence Day (August 14), AFP will hold races and marathon at Provincial Headquarter and Distract Headquarters and wherever possible even at club level in major Towns and Villages of the province.
In this context a Marathon Race is being organized by the Sports Department of the Government of Balochistan in collaboration with Pakistan Army and Balochistan Athletics Association on August 6.
The Race will start from Airport Chowk to Football Ground, Ayub Stadium. It is a mega National Event in Quetta Balochistan. The Winners will be awarded with cash prizes. 1st position (Rs 300,000), 2nd position (Rs 200,000), 3rd position (100,000) and 4th to 10th position (Rs 25,000 each).
