Ahsan Iqbal's Name Placed On Exit Control List

The sources say that the ministry of Interior has placed the name of PML-N General Secretary on the no-fly list.
ISLAMABAD:(UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-May 7th, 2021) PML-N General Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal could not fly abroad as his name has been placed on Exit Control List.
The Sources say that the Ministry of Interior has placed his name on no-fly list. They say that his name has been placed on ECL after approval of the Federal cabinet.
No response has come so far from the PML-N leader.
Ahsan Iqbal who was facing corruption charges over Narowal Sports Complex was arrested in December 2019 but later was released on bail.
Ahsan Iqbal was accused of embezzlement of funds after cost of building sports complex touched Rs3,000 million. NAB investigation team visited the Narowal Sports City project to secure records and the mega venture was one of the Primary projects developed under former minister for planning Ahsan Iqbal during the PML-N's tenure.
