AJK govt to announce special delegates for Kashmir issue

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -6th Sept,2016) : President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said that special representatives will be sent in other countries for advocating the Kashmir issue more effectively in front of the world.

Talking to ptv news, he said Pakistan will keep on advocating Kashmiris' stance at all international forums until the issue is resolved according to the aspirations of Kashmiris. "To fight the Indian propaganda we need to have a strong lobby in United Nations and also on other international fronts", he added.

He said UN needs to improvise its strategy regarding the matter. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had also raised the issue in UNSC and explained Pakistan's stance very well in front of the world leaders.

AJK President said that entire Pakistan stands with Kashmir. "India is in state of denial when it refuses the Kashmiris' right to decide their own future", he said. He termed the reporting of Indian and international media on Kashmir issue as unfair.

"World needs to understand the issue with Kashmiris eyes and not with India's", he added.

He said the United Nations has been encouraging dialogue process between Pakistan and India but New Delhi backs out from its commitment.

Masood Khan said people of Indian occupied Kashmir are rendering unprecedented sacrifices for their freedom. He said Pakistan has been extending consistently its moral, diplomatic and political support to Kashmiri people for their just struggle for right to self-determination.

To a question he said the newly selected cabinet will be serving the people of Kashmir in every possible way. He said that road infrastructure will be modernized and reparation of existing roads will also be started.

He said that government will ensure the rapid increase in tourism activities and projects of tourism promotion will be started. "Tourism strengthens the economy and enhances the beauty of the area", he added. He further said that basic life necessities will be improved according to the government's proposed policy.
