AJK Observes Black Day Against Indian State Terrorism In Occupied

MIRPUR (AJK) ,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 20th july,2016): In response to the call given by the government of Pakistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir Wednesday observed Black Day to register protest against the recent wave of mass killing of innocent Kashmiris by the Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.
In response to the call given by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, people across AJK observed black day to mark their extreme protest over the recent gruesome killing of the innocent Kashmiris. It was also aimed at to reiterated full sympathies and solidarity with the freedom loving people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir besides with the bereaved families of 50 of the recently martyred Kashmiris. The day-long anti-India rallies in all small and major towns and cities were the hall mark of the day. Mirpur University of Science & Technology (MUST) held a protest seminar to mark the black day. The protest rallies were jointly staged under the auspices of various social political and civil society's representative organizations in the capital city of Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Rawalakot, Bhimber, Kotli and other district and tehsil to mark the black day. Mirpur city was banged with full-throat anti-India slogans during a rally held at central Shaheed Chowk Wednesday morning.
The central procession was taken out from district court premises. It was led by Chairman National Events organizing committee Ch. Amjad Iqbal, President Markazi Anjuman e Tajraan Sohail Shujah Mujahid and others. After passing through major city streets, the rally converged into big congregation of masses from all walks of life.
Addressing the rally speakers strongly condemned the fresh wave of state terrorism by the Indian occupying troops in occupied Kashmir. Speakers urged the international community especially United Nations and global human rights organizations to immediately intervene to get stopped the repeated naked aggression, barbarism and ruthless firing by Indian forces on the peaceful rallies of kashmiris in occupied valley.
Speakers underlined that Indian occupying forces have killed over 50 innocent civilians and injured more than two thousand others during past ten days.
Paying glorious tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs, speakers said that the day was not far away when their supreme sacrifices would bear fruit and the sun of liberty from the Indian yoke would rise in the bleeding occupied valley of Jammu & Kashmir. Describing the thrashing of injured civilians lying open to sky in hospitals in Srinagar, speakers invited the attention of the world human rights organizations to manage for sending eye specialists to occupied Srinagar to aid hundreds of persons who have lost eye site during ruthless use of firing and shelling by the Indian occupational forces on the demonstrating mobs.
They said that through such shameful acts, Indian forces were trampling all human rights which they added, should serve as an eye opener for all international human rights organizations and friends of humanity. In Muzaffarabad the rally was held jointly by various social, political , religious, media, lawyers and other organizations of the people representing the diverse segments of the civil society to condemn the increased human rights abuses by Indian occupational forces in the held state.
The raging participants of the rally passed through major major city streets shouting slogans against the increased Indian brutalities in the bleeding occupied valley. Addressing the rally, speakers called for early movement of the United Nations and other global human rights organizations to get abandoned the reign of Indian state terrorism and violence unleashed against the freedom loving people in occupied Kashmir. Speakers also called for early holding of plebiscite in occupied Kashmir to ensure early grant of the much-awaited right of self determination to the people of Jammu Kashmir to enable them to decide about their destiny.
