AJK TRANSPORT AUTHORITY MOVES TO ENSURE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE TRAVELING FACILITIES TO THE COMMUTERS:

MIRPUR (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) : Jan 17 (APP):AJK Transport Minister Nasir Dar Thursday directed the officials of the State Transport Authority to take stringent steps to end overloading in the public transport to ensure safe and comfortable traveling facilities to the commuters.

He issued these instructions during a surprise visit to the office of AJK Transport Authority here Thursday. Secretary AJK Transport Authority Bashir Choudhry briefed the minister of the matters related to the public transport in the State.

He also informed the minister about computerization of official record of the Authority besides ongoing development projects related to the public transport facilities in the liberated territory.

The minister advised the officials to resolve the issues confronted by the public transporters to enable them to provide more better transport facilities to the masses. He also directed the officials of the state transport authority to discharge their duties honestly, and with passion and dedication.
