Ali Muhammad Khan For Forming Parliamentarian's Ethics Committee

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan Friday floated the idea for constituting an Ethics Committee of senior members of both the National Assembly and the Senate for smooth running the affairs of the Parliament.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2018 ) :Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan Friday floated the idea for constituting an Ethics Committee of senior members of both the National Assembly and the Senate for smooth running the affairs of the Parliament.

Responding to point of order raised by Senator Raza Rabbani, he said the government gives the Senate high esteem and committed to ensuring sanctity of the House.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is determined not to tolerate any corrupt person even in his cabinet.�Earlier, speaking on a point of order, Senator Raza Rabbani demanded constitution of Federal Accountability Commission for ensuring across the board accountability of all and sundry.

The commission should conduct accountability to all stakeholders including politicians, bureaucrats and judiciary.
