According to daily FFC report on Wednesday, Tarbela and Mangla Reservoir are at elevations of 1514.90 feet & 1216.65 feet respectively (35.10 feet & 25.35 feet below their respective maximum conservation levels of 1550.00 feet and 1242.00 feet)

(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2017 ) According to daily FFC report on Wednesday, Tarbela and Mangla Reservoir are at elevations of 1514.90 feet & 1216.65 feet respectively (35.10 feet & 25.35 feet below their respective maximum conservation levels of 1550.00 feet and 1242.00 feet).

Present Combined Live Storage of Tarbela, Mangla & Chashma Reservoirs is 9.816 MAF as against the maximum storage capacity of 13.856 MAF. Yesterday's Monsoon Low over Northwestern Bay of Bengal today lies over Northern Orissa (India) and adjoining Jharkand (India), whereas weak Seasonal Low prevails over Northwestern Balochistan.

Weak moist currents from Bay of Bengal are penetrating into upper parts of the country up to 2000 feet. According to Flood Forecasting Division, Lahore isolated wind thunderstorm/rain is expected over Gujranwala & Lahore Divisions of Punjab, Hazara & Kohistan Divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Southeastern Sindh including Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, besides, upper catchments of Rivers Indus, Jhelum & Chenab during the next 24 hours.

No significant rainfall event has been reported by FFD, Lahore during the past 24 hours.
