All sectors get relief in budget: Abid

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2017 ) : Minister of State for Water and Power Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali Friday said the budget 2017-18 would provide relief to all sectors of the economy.

Talking to APP, the minister said, the government had allocated hefty amount for health and education sectors.

He said 2017 was a years of elimination of power loadshedding. Two energy projects launched under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor had been completed while many others were underway.

Due to hectic efforts of the present government, electricity generation had reached 18,000 megawatt, he added.
