All TDPs To Return Home By End Of Year: Baloch

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd August, 2016) : Minister for SAFRON Lt. Gen (Retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch has said all Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) would return to their homes by end of this year. "Rs 100 billion have been allocated out of Rs 30 billion were spent on the developmental projects of TDPs including electricity, water supply and rehabilitation in North Waziristan Agency (NWA)," he said talking to a private news channel.

The minister said there was massive decrease in terrorism activities in the country due to operation Zarb-e-Azb.

The main aim of the operation was to restore peace and then early return of TDPs their homes. He said the government has maintained its writ in South and North Waziristan and Pakistan army has eliminated terrorism from Waziristan as all the things were under control there.
