PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Dec, 2017 ) :Political experts and lawmakers Tuesday said alliance of failed politicians having major differences in their political ideologies and preferences about democracy, is bound to fail and could not restrict PMLN from achieving landslide victory in 2018 general elections.

In-spite of strong differences in political ideologies and standpoint of the rejected politicians about democracy and politics, the experts said, they were regrouping against PMLN after foreseeing defeat in 2018 general election.

Sardar Aurangzaib Nalota, PML-N KP Parliamentary leader in KP Assembly told APP that the defeated politicians were again joining hands after foreseeing their defeat in the 2018 general elections at the hands of PMLN.

These rejected politicians are also failed to make any dent in the ranks and files of PMLN parliamentarians who are still supporting Nawaz Sharif as their leader despite so many pressure from various quarters, he added.

The recent meeting of PPP Co-Chairman, Asif Ali Zardari and Chief of Pakistan Awami Tahrik (PAT) Dr Tahirul Qadri has raised many questions, he said. The PMLN leader said PPP was the major political party that strongly supported democracy and supremacy of Parliament with numerous sacrifices offered by its leadership whereas Dr.

Tahirul Qadri's agenda was also known to everyone. Nalota said PPP leadership had strongly criticized Qadri's Islamabad sit-in during its regime and now Zardari-Qadri meeting had made everything open, adding if they succeeded in making electoral alliance it would be unnatural and would not go for long.

He said PTI-JUI-Samiul Haq group electoral alliance was also unnatural as there were great differences in the ideologies of both the parties regarding politics and democracy and would not go long as its main purpose is to reach power corridors.

With only five months remaining in completion of PMLN tenure, he said, the purpose of such electoral alliances was already known to people and masses could not be deceived through catchy slogans and such unnatural alliances.

The conspiracies were being hatched against PMLN to restrict it from achieving landslide victory in the 2018 general election, he said and added people are the real strength of PMLN who would frustrate all such conspiracies through power of votes in 2018.

The whole responsibility would be on opposition parties including on PPP if election was delayed in the country, adding support of PPP for constitutional amendment regarding delimitation of constituency was must for timely holding of general elections.

To a question about recent announcement of resignations by some PMLN dissidents, Nalota said PMLN lawmakers were standing with the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif like a solid rock and opponents dreaming of emerging cracks in PMLN were extremely disappointed after the resignation drama completely flopped.

About Jumat e Islami long march, he said, there was no justification of such long marches following Government assurances for implementation of Fata reforms. The abolishment of FCR and extension of jurisdiction of supreme court and high court to FATA as announced by a Federal Minister was a major step towards merger of FATA with KP.

Nalota criticized JI's long march on Islamabad and termed it a political stunt, which he believed would not give any strength to JI in tribal areas. He urged JI leadership to refrain from long marches and concentrate on resolution of the longstanding issues of tribal people.

He said Parliament was the best forum to address this issue. The ANP leader and former Provincial Minister Wajid Ali Khan also criticized JI long march and termed it a political gimmick to get support of tribal people ahead of 2018 general election.

The issue of KP-Fata merger could only be addressed in Parliament rather than streets and roads, he said, adding ANP wanted merger of Fata with KP as per the wishes and aspirations of masses. He said it would have been better for JI to take all the political parties into confidence before taking solo flight of long march as almost all political parties are agreed on KP-Fata merger.

The ANP leader said his party strongly supported general election on time for strengthening of democratic system in the country. He said snap polls were no solution to problems and if this trend was sits today than no Government would complete its tenure in future.
