Almost 1 Lac Pakistani Hujjaj Reached To Saudia: Director Hajj

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -29th Augst,2016) : Director Hajj Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah on Monday said almost one lac and three thousand Pakistani pilgrims have reached to Mecca, Madina and Jeddah for performing the holy rituals of Hajj. Talking to ptv news, he said that pilgrimages would be provided best facilities for residence, food and treatments throughout the journey. He said many buildings have been rented in Azizya area of Mecca and other different areas of the city for the pilgrims.
Areas where these pilgrims will be residing have been divided into nine sectors with their respective incharges and deputy incharges who will accommodate the hujjaj at the earliest in any situation.
He said this year the facilities have been upgraded as compare to those of last year.
He informed that a special call center has also been set up for the complaints from the pilgrims and more than 1,800 calls and complainants have been registered up till now and most of them have been entertained.
He mentioned that the a hospital has been established in Azizya along with eight dispensaries in different areas to treat the Hujjaj in case of any untoward situation. He added another special center has also been set-up for those whose luggage gets misplaced at the air port.
He said this year Hajj ministry would also provide prayer matt and a pillow to the pilgrims in Minna as gifts.
