Ambassadors Meet Businessmen At Lahore Chamber Of Commerce And Industry

Ambassador of Dominica Emmanuel Nanthan, Ambassador of Cuba Gabriel Tiel Capote and Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Russia Vladimir Berezyuk on Wednesday met businessmen here at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Dec, 2018 ) :Ambassador of Dominica Emmanuel Nanthan, Ambassador of Cuba Gabriel Tiel Capote and Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Russia Vladimir Berezyuk on Wednesday met businessmen here at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
Talking to business community, Ambassador of Dominica Emmanuel Nanthan said tourism, textile and steel sectors had the potential to improve two-way trade between Dominican Republic and Pakistan. He said starting business in Dominica was very easy and Pakistani businessmen could step into joint ventures with their Dominican counterparts. He said, tourism industry of Dominica was playing a key role in economic growth.
LCCI President Almas Hyder said that close working relations between the two countries would help achieve trade and economic targets, adding that Dominica was a small island of North America and Pakistan was keen to explore its market for exports. Pakistan has a wide range of exports items and the country cater the needs of Dominican market.
He called for regular interaction among the representatives of private sectors and exchange of trade & investment related data to achieve quick results.
He said it was a best time for Dominican Republic to enhance imports from Pakistan.
Senior Vice President Khawaja Shahzad Nasir and Vice President Fahim-ur-Rehman Saigal said the northern areas of Pakistan also had huge attraction for the tourists. Both the countries could work together in this particular sector. They said Sialkot city of Pakistan was producing sports goods of finest quality.
Later, Ambassador of Cuba Gabriel Tiel Capote also had meeting with the LCCI President Almas Hyder who also invited Pakistani businessmen to invest in various sectors of Cuban economy. He called for exchange of trade delegations and trade exhibitions.
Almas Hyder said both the countries should adopt barter trade system. He said Pakistan had a wide range of exports and could cater to the needs of Cuban market for numerous items of daily use.
Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Russia Vladimir Berezyuk also called on the LCCI President Almas Hyder and had a detailed discussion on trade and economic relations between the two countries. He pledged to make joint efforts to enhance the volume of two-way trade and to cement the economic and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
