Amir Muqam's son gets bail in corruption case

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2019 ) :The anti corruption court on Tuesday granted bail to son of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) provincial president Amir Muqam against surety bond of Rs 5,00,000.

Ishtiaq Muqam was arrested by anti corruption unit of FIA on charges of corruption in Shang-Basham roads construction projects, incurring Rs 2 billion on national exchequer.

The court also granted bail to his cousin and three other employees of National Highway Authority (NHA). After obtaining bail Ishtiaq Muqam expressed his satisfaction over his bail, adding cases against him were politically motivated.
