ANF Recovers 43 Kg Drugs In Nine Operations

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Aug, 2024) Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting nine operations across the country managed to recover 43 kg drugs and arrested nine accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Monday.

He informed that 3.1 kg ice and 1208 intoxicated tablets were recovered in two separate operations at Karachi Airport from the possession of two passengers going to Saudi Arabia and Dubai.

In another operation, 25 kg hashish was recovered from an accused netted in Multan.

In two operations conducted near Ring Road Peshawar, 6 kg hashish and 900 grams opium were recovered from two suspects.

3 kg hashish was recovered from an accused arrested in Bhan Road, Hyderabad.

3.6 kg hashish and 300 intoxicated tablets were recovered from an accused rounded up near a university in Peshawar.

920 grams ice was recovered in an operation near M-2 Toll Plaza Islamabad.

In 9th operation, 520 grams hashish was recovered from the possession of an accused netted in Gilgit.

Cases have been registered against the arrested accused while further investigations are under process.
