ANF Seizes 330 Kg Drugs In 9 Operations

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2024) Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting 9 operations across the country managed to recover 330 kg drugs and arrested 8 accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Tuesday.

He informed that 826 grams ice was recovered from a passenger going to Qatar at Islamabad Airport.

900 grams heroin was recovered from a parcel booked for the UK at a courier office in Lahore.

12 grams weed was recovered from a parcel sent from UK at courier office in Rawalpindi.

250 kg hashish was recovered from Pasni road area in Balochistan and 7.

2 kg opium, 2 kg heroin and 36 kg hashish were recovered from the possession of 2 suspects netted near Ravi Toll Plaza Lahore.

8.4 kg hashish and 2 kg ice recovered from 3 women in two operations conducted near M-1 Motorway Islamabad.

In 8th operation, 18 kg hashish was recovered from a vehicle intercepted on Ring road Peshawar.

In 9TH operation, 4.8 kg hashish was recovered from a vehicle near Charsadda interchange toll plaza and 2 suspects were arrested.

Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are under process.
