Anila Mehmood For Supremacy Of Constitution, Strengthening Institutions If Mandated

Anila Mehmood, a candidate of the Mutahidda Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) from NA-34, Tuesday said her party firmly believes in supremacy of the Constitution, strengthening of institutions.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2018 ) :Anila Mehmood, a candidate of the Mutahidda Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) from NA-34, Tuesday said her party firmly believes in supremacy of the Constitution, strengthening of institutions.
In an interview with APP, she, primarily hailing from Jamat e-Islami, said the institutions can strengthen automatically, if supremacy of the Constitution is accepted and maintained.
She said the state can progress and prosper if its leaders are not corrupt adding that her party has the distinction of having corruption free past and the party will maintain our corruption free image in future also.
Regarding unemployment of youth, she said the ratio of unemployment is increasing rapidly in the country due to lack of opportunities. "Our party has the agenda to address unemployment issue on priority".
She said well-recognized training and technical institutions are needed to be established across the country where the youth should be imparted skills enhancement programmes.
"Jobs will be given on merit and unemployment allowances will be paid to youth until they get job", she added.
"Women empowerment will be strengthened under Islamic law as our religion stresses more on equal rights for women", she said.
Responding to a question, she said dowry will be avoided as Islamic law emphasizes that a dowry should be given to bride rather than to bridegroom's family.
To a question, she claimed that if her party came into power, it would provide free treatment to five major diseases such as kidney failure , heart related diseases, cancer, HIV and hepatitis. She said we will ensure to provide life saving drugs as taxation free.
She said our current education system is full of flaws, our party has a special plan for quality education by introducing uniform education system across the country to provide easy access for all children.
She said we will ensure to have free education till matriculation to makeour generation more educated and civilized.
