'Annual Rama-Peer Festival' To Be Started From October 17

The annual Rama-Peer Festival (Mela) will be started in Tando Allahyar from October 17, 2018 with participation of tens of thousands devotees of Rama-Peer Mandir from all over the country.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Oct, 2018 ) :The annual Rama-Peer Festival (Mela) will be started in Tando Allahyar from October 17, 2018 with participation of tens of thousands devotees of Rama-Peer Mandir from all over the country.
In this connection, the meeting of Rama-Peer Mela Committee met here Thursday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Tando Allayar Rasheed Ahmed Zardari.
The meeting was attended by the President Rama-Peer Administrative Committee Kishore Kumar, Vice President Bhoora Lal Khem Chand and Chairman Municipal Committee Tando Allahyar Syed Imdad Ali Shah Rizvi and discussed the arrangements of festival.
The SSP Tando Allahyar Imran Riaz informed the meeting that foolproof security measures have been planned to maintain law and order during the festival. A complaint centre will also be established at SSP office to receive complaints if any from devotees, he said that control rooms will also be established in all three talukas of the district.
The Chairman Municipal Committee Syed Imdad Ali Shah Rizvi said that municipal committee will set up cold water stalls during festival in order to facilitate the devotees.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers of the health department to set up a medical camp in and outside the premises of Rama-Peer Mandir with availability of lady doctors. Besides, a special ward also be set up in emergency ward of the civil hospital so that medical facility could be provided to devotees, he added.
He also directed the SSGC authorities and HESCO management to ensure uninterrupted gas and electricity supplies during the festival days so that the devotees could not face any inconvenience while performing their rituals.
