MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Feb, 2018 ) :The four-day long Shivartari annual festival Thursday concluded in a peaceful manner at Chitti Ghatti, some 15 kilometers from Mansehra where thousands of Hindu devotees attended the carnival.

Hindu devotees from all over the country and abroad reached the historical temple of Shiva to take part in their religious rituals.

The district administration had made foolproof security arrangements for the Shivartari festival by deputing more than 700 male and female police and elite force.

Pandat Darshan Lal of Shiva Temple, Pandat Shaukat Parkash of Noshera, Pandat Jay Parkash of Mardan, Pandat Sareendar Kuman and thousands of Hindu devotees thanked the DC Mansehra for making such security arrangements. They also thanked provincial government for the Rs 10,000 honorarium of Pandats.
