ANP Election Committee Announces Schedule Of Holding Meetings

The provincial election commission of Awami National Party (ANP) has finalized schedule of meetings before holding intra-party elections to elect district cabinet

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jan, 2019 ) :The provincial election commission of Awami National Party (ANP) has finalized schedule of meetings before holding intra-party elections to elect district cabinet.

It was decided in a meeting chaired by chairman election commission Sardar Hussain Babak here at Bacha Khan Markaz. Other members included Javed Khan Yousafzai, Khursheed Khattak, Gul Afzal Khan and Iram Fatima.

The meeting expressed satisfaction on on-going membership drive of the party and appreciated performance of district election committees.

The commission directed district committees to complete elections at ward, Tehsil, Union and town council level at the earliest.

It was also decided to hold meetings of district committees at Bacha Khan Markaz before intra party elections.

The election commission decided to convene meetings of district election committees of Peshawar valley and Malakand division on January 1. A meeting of Southern districts would be held on February 2, Hazara division on February 4 and tribal districts on February 5.

The final date of holding intra party election at district level would be decided after mutual consultation with the district committees.
