Anti-encroachment Drive Continues In Abbottabad

Cantonment Board Abbottabad (CBA) on Wednesday continued its anti-encroachment drive on the third consecutive day and cleared almost both sides of Karakoram Highway (KKH) in the city areas.

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Dec, 2018 ) :Cantonment board Abbottabad (CBA) on Wednesday continued its anti-encroachment drive on the third consecutive day and cleared almost both sides of Karakoram Highway (KKH) in the city areas.

The drive was carried out by the district administration, CBA officials and police. During the campaign, the encroachments were demolished with the heavy machinery at several places.

District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad, Abbass Majeed Marwat, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) CBA Arsalan Haider and Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad monitored the operation while a large number of police officials were also present on the occasion to avoid any untoward situation.

The drive would help resolve the traffic issue of Abbottabadon main KKH which is the only city's road and also leads towards otherparts of the Hazara division and northern areas.
