Anti-encroachment Drive: Trader Detained

Anti-encroachment unit faced resistance on Thursday during the operation against illegal buildings, bill boards,cemented structures constructed in and around Nishtar hospital as some traders started brawl with the squad.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) -:Anti-encroachment unit faced resistance on Thursday during the operation against illegal buildings, bill boards,cemented structures constructed in and around Nishtar hospital as some traders started brawl with the squad.

Resultantly, a person was taken into custody by police.The squad razed an illegal roadside hotel which was built on Nishtar graveyard, besides several other illegal structures.

The operation was being carried out on the directives of Punjab government on daily basis in Multan as in other cities of the province under the supervision of district government in collaboration with MDA, Municipal corporation and police.

Anti encroachment unit also conducted operation on Pul Bararain, Amirabad and other roads. A spokesperson of district administration said that state land of worth billion of rupees has been retrieved so far.
